Play Make-up

I made some play make-up for Mylee. It seems when I sit down to do my make-up she runs over and grabs some makeup and a brush out of my bag! Her favorite is to use my brushes on her face and then in her hair! Cute! Well, my friend Becca found this wonderful idea online so one night we made makeup. Here is the tutuorial if interested. Super easy and fun!

We used old makeup containers and then filled them up with nailpolish. I recommend not using the cheapest nail polish you can find, it evaporates to almost nothing. =)

Photos of Mylee

Here are some things Mylee has been up to lately!
Mylee is starting to organize things all around her. I had these bottles of water in the pantry and she took them all out and lined them up on the floor.
Posing for a photo!
Mylee loves watching the cars drive by behind our home. She says "car" each time one drives by. She was entertained by this for quite a while.
Wearing her costume the day after Halloween!
Sweet toes!
Reading with Grandma and Grandpa!
Kevin was making some calls for work and Mylee wanted up on the bar stool near him. Then she leaned into him to give him loves. She loves her daddy so much!
She really wasn't asleep but I just thought it was funny that she laid down on the counter like it was her bed. Not my idea of comfy!
I was at the computer and Mylee came up to me wearing daddy's USC hat, wanting to give me the Book of Mormon!
(was she hinting something?!) Our sweet smiley Mylee!
Mylee loves to push this stroller around.

Fall Walk

We went down to Harrison Blvd. with a couple friends to go for a nice fall walk. The homes are beautiful and there were leaves everywhere of all colors. I love fall time!

Adorable! Mylee walking with Kaylynn.
Taking a break from walking. Mylee was trying to pose just like Kaylynn!

California

Uncle Rod, Sarah, Chad and Aunt Pam
Kevin, Mylee and I headed to California for the funeral of my Uncle Rod. He is my moms only brother. It was so good to go down to remember my Uncle Rod and to be with everyone! Funerals are always so inspiring. My Uncle Rod and Aunt Pam have 6 kids and they all spoke at the funeral, very touching! I copied this photo from my cousins blog because not only are they so happy but because this is how I remember him. He was a great example to all!
Grandpa Tibbitts, Kevin, Kara, Grandma Tibbitts
I love my grandparents so much. They are such great examples to me. My grandma writes weekly letters that are so fun to read, I am amazed at how busy they are. I love them so much!!
It was so great to gather after the funeral at my grandparents home. I love all of my relatives so much, we have so much fun together and we always have the best discussions!
My Grandparents home in sunny California. I have SO many great memories here. My mom grew up here most her life. And my grandparents are moving soon so I am glad I was able to go there one more time. It was fun to show Kevin around as well.
My sister Heather Lyn was my parents first child. She passed away at 4 1/2 months old. Even though I have never known her in this life it is amazing the love I have for her. She is a strength to me and I am so grateful for her and I am so grateful to know that I will see her again someday.

My Family!
It was so special as we talked there and shared thoughts and listened to my parents share memories of her! Something I will never forget! I love my family!

After the funeral at the luncheon! It was great to have my whole family there!
Mylee fell asleep on me after the funeral. We were shocked since it is very unusual for her. I loved every second of it though.
Some of my cousins
Of my 36 cousins all but 4 were there, it was so great to see all of them!
me, Stacie, Kristi, Alisa, Jen, Racheal, Liz, and Keri
Kevin-board surfing! We headed to the beach one day. We stayed a couple nights at Aunt Donna's home. She lives an hour or so from the ocean. (Aunt Donna is Kevin's aunt, and unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of him with his cousins there) Kevin was the only brave one to get in the water. Mylee and I thought the water was freezing, as well as all the other surfers who were in full body wet suits!

Playing at the park in some small town in Nevada, the drive was very long!
Mylee asleep ready for the long drive, she did great thanks to the Wiggles DVD we borrowed from a friend. Not sure the next time I will allow her to watch that since we heard it one too many times on our trip!

pumpkins

We headed to Linder Farms one night to enjoy the festivities and pick a pumpkin for Mylee. Mylee loved the swings and running aimlessly through the straw bale maze.
Mylee loved the swings so much she was so upset to get off of them. It's funny because we debated on putting her on them because she seemed too little, but good thing we let her!!

Lovin' the freedom to go whereever her little heart desired.

Halloween Costume Party

Kevin and I...arghh
Me with my friend Julie

Kevin

Kevin and I dressed up as pirates this year for the big Halloween Party. This was the 3rd annual Costume Party. It was held at Fuddruckers where we ate dinner and of course enjoyed karaoke for those who were brave enough to do it. It is always hard to think what to dress up as, and it was 3 in the afternoon before we finally decided to go with the pirates idea. We had a good time!
